1388 - The Lost Singer - Florence
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
There was always a shadow among her dream, too familiar yet too strange to tell the difference. She wanted to grip hold onto the shadow, yet each time before she could grip hold she would be jotter awake. It would always lead her to sit in her bed gazing out in the far end thinking back on the many questions forming in her mind.
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
At times in her dream she would feel the faint waver of emotion. Other times she would see the interaction of the shadow with another mist figure as the scene all seem too familiar. She felt like she should know this, yet she couldn’t let the words formed properly into her mind to explain why she should know it.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once
The way you did once upon a dream
It was the usual days for ‘The Lost Singer’as she wrapped around in a robe while sitting in a town center singing gently of tales of the old. A man came to her today, sat there and listens to her old tale of singing. She didn’t notice the man until he came up to her handing over an odd coin that held odd circle markings on it. “Sorry.” The man said while a sad smile hung on that sharp angular face that felt all too familiar in her scramble mind. She reached out her hand before she trembled upon her feet from her own clothing. Crushing faintly, she raced to catch up as she barely cared how her manner mattes anymore.
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, that gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
“I know you.” She faintly said as she gripped onto the hems of the man’s clothing. Her glass blue eyes glint with wonder as she slowly sees her dream figure over lapping with reality. Fragments of dream are still a fragment, but this man, she could tell was the center of all her fragments. The man suddenly halted spinning around making her herself bumped right into his broad chest. “You shall remember, as you are not once upon a dream.” The man said as he sad eyes looked right into her glass blue eyes.Memories just flickering all over her mind as she blinked her eyes rapidly before she let out a cry as too much information just flickering around, she closed her eyes as she let her body lump away into the arms of the man.
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
The next time she woke up, she noticed she was in a comfortable bed, a bed that had appeared once in a while in her dream. Is she in dream? She than heard a faint broken song that often just swamp around her mind. “I know you… once upon a dream.” She faintly hummed the words as she closed her eyes leaning back onto the bed again, somehow the song make her heavy heart as she swamp into her fragment of dreams.
But if I know you, I know what you do
You love me at once
The way you did once upon a dream
The man walked into the room as he sat down sank his weight onto the bed, he gently ruffled through her dark brown locks as he mused, “I know you, you love me at once, and shall love forever be.” He sang along that broken tune as she smiled back. Somehow she knew someday she will find back those answer, time wasn’t right yet. Yes. Time was simply not right yet.
