The Song

Sometimes time have a funny thing of showing things. Laveda still recall every last song that was sung in her ears before she passed away in every life she entered into. She still recalls the song that sung low as she watched the faint spark of regeneration energy flickered off into the air, another time for the Doctor again. The atmosphere had a funny way of showing the life of every creature as the faint energy freckle through time. Laveda slowly hummed the faint song along the lines as she let the last of the regeneration energy flow into her body. She knew once that process was done the TARDI would once again locate her throughout the time.

How many times Laveda met the Doctor? She forgot already. Too many times and too many times the Doctor asked her the same question. Would you like to travel with me in time and space? Laveda recalled her past self always reject the Doctor. She spoke of the time, she was in time, and she belongs to time. If that made any sense to anyone, but the Doctor always gave her the knowing look as he promise to visit back again sometime. It was their small little deal, the Doctor would trade a horrible dead alien to Laveda while he gain a piece of information of the past. The past before the Time War. Laveda on the hand would gain the energy to survive in her mortal body, after all she live on energy in the atmosphere, and the human destroyed Earth to a degree that those energy for her to survive was long gone.

“Hmm, this new body is odd.” The sound of a male came behind as Laveda smiled gently as she turned and patted down onto the spot next to her. The man sat down as he muttered, “You ever got bored of the blue sky? I mean why kept yourself onto Earth when you can barely live off it.” It was the same statement every time Laveda met the Doctor. She hesitated for a moment before reaching over and touching the male’s slim frame. She was waiting for the permission as the Doctor gave a twinkle in the eye as allowing the faint connection of communication to happen. ‘You know the reason…’ Her voice faintly echoed as she gave a last smile onto her face as she could feel her body slowly dying again. ‘I am bound in time, earth is bound in time. I was bound to earth when it was born.’ She faintly explained as she never spoke of those unspoken laws among her time. She form was made from the dust of the earth; she was bound to the earth by time even though she belongs to time. Time is infinity in Laveda’s mind.

“Right right, until the time of the Earth had end I suppose.” The Doctor laughed in dry tone, he knew well Laveda wouldn’t leave the Earth as she fear crashing with her past will bring problem. The law of the time was the same with every creature that lived forever. It was the same for those knew time. ‘Until that day comes… You shall visit me through time, as it is hard to forget you.’ Laveda teased gently as she leaned onto the Doctor’s shoulder while she let her eyes half close. It was the feeling of knowing lonely that swap through them. The Doctor once joked they shall be married, as Laveda simply smiled back not rejecting the idea at all. Well they did married one time in past, still is married to this current state. Though they never went and explore any romance between them as they both knew time wasn’t in their hand yet. There was a time where every Time Lore would become a man as they dance, yet the dance for this Time Lore hadn’t come yet. Laveda finally let her words slipped, ‘I miss you.’ It was all she spoke in the end before she got up from her position and ruffled his brown hair as if joked the Doctor never got the ginger hair he wished for all the time, though she did gave him a newly upgraded sonic screwdriver in return as she fused a piece of her past into the screwdriver. The Doctor thanked the gift as Laveda walked down the streets of Greek, her black orbs glancing up the blue sky smile gently.

“Who was she, Doctor?” A young lady came out of the TARDIS to see only the shadow of Laveda. The Doctor flicked and tucked the screwdriver into his pocket as he made a funky gesture. “Someone, someone from past, present, future that I wish to encounter for many times more.” It was the usual riddle as he usher back into the TARDIS.
