The earth have returned back to it's original state. At least from the surface of the naked eyes it seem to return back to a habitat in the pre-humanity state. However, the earth was not the beauty that once held anymore, as oxygen that once filled the air turned into a toxic form containing high level of sulfuric acid. This combination was triggered by one of the world war massive bio-chemistry weapon's aftermath along with the already high concentration of carbon dioxide in the earth atmosphere. It had made ripple effect that lasted onward for the past 2000 years as forcing evolution in the life forms on earth to adapt. Human had long fled earth as the atmosphere were no longer able to be diluted by science solutions. The only thing that remained were the supernaturals, as they had developed various solutions among their bodies to survive this twisted structure of earth.
The once beauty skyscrapers on earth are now bloomed with plants twisting in and out of the building structure. Plants and animals were the only thing other than supernaturals that had survived; however, even those specious had developed unusual methods to adapt to the atmosphere. Plants were no longer harmless as it was load with various wired tentacle that would lash out on anything tripped over it's own roots as it released toxic fume. Some other plants had developed a tendency to 'eat' any living thing as the plant wrapped around the living thing releasing toxic acids as the meat were savaged into nutritious content for the plants.
Plants weren't the only thing that would develop, animals were also on the list. However, the development among the animals had turned quite a dramatic appearance changed, as some animals had developed extra origins on their body or a hybrid breed of two impossible bread into one. Take a deer as example. A deer might developed fish glans along with extra pair of horns and a wired cricked embedded tiger head on the side. It was not easy to hunt down animals for food. Than again, animal meat also contain highly dose of toxin that it would need to be diluted before it was possible to be eaten.
Technology on earth was once the fastest blooming aspect; however, now in this twisted structure of earth technology in general had fall back into 18th century or further back into time. The most advanced aspect were weapons. Pretty much every living soul on earth carried all sort of weapons around as dangers were just simply on every visible place.
Supernatural had long gave up the old grunges each spices held as the goal was to survive. At times a werewolf might get a bit heat headed with a vampire, but it was rare for it to actually scale into mass destruction. Supernaturals had took a slight development in adapting the toxic world. Werewolves were some of the more dramatic changes. They had slightly merge into a wolf appearance as wolf furs are clearly visible on the face along with a slight elongated facial structure, sharp wolf teeth took over the normal human teeth as it was another feature that werewolves had developed.
Every supernatural lived in a wide spread area, only a few would form up into a pack or a small clan to keep the survival rate up. The once glamour cities had became the central hub of market trading, yet these trading only happen once a week. People were constant on the move as food sources are thinned out to a limit. Farming had became impossible as every eatable item that soaked among the acid soil would turned into a deadly plant. The only method of gaining food was by hunting.
This story starts with the sudden scream that cracked the faint silence in a eastern side of London.
It woke Lux up. Lux was the incarnation of Laveda. The only human that lived on this planet. She would never change in structure to adapt the atmosphere as she was earth itself. Her body was naturally incarnated into this form to adapt anything on earth, even at times she thrived in this atmosphere as it contain endless supply of pure energy to supply her body.
Lux sprung up in reflexes as she gripped onto the bow laying next to her, she crunch down drawing onto the bow while her emerald eyes gazed around her surrounding. She finally let out a low sigh. Nothing had broke into her sleeping area yet, though she knew she will need to move to another hiding place soon.
Putting down the weapon once more as Lux stretched her body, cranking every possible bone in her body to ease out the tenseness. She let her bright blue hair swung to the front of her face before she puffed and flung the hair back again. She could feel a deep boil of frustration in herself. Maybe it was due to fact, her 'husband' had never shown up at all in this incarnation.
Lux had retained most of the memory from previous incarnation, unlike the previous incarnation it was pure fragments, this incarnation recalled every detail due to resourceful of energy that were lingering on earth. Lux gripped her bow in flash as she heard light hoof sound from the corner of the building. She drew on the bow string as the bow body faintly glowed in blue charging up a pure electric shock wave arrow. Lux didn't hesitate as she fired off the arrow as she heard a light scramble sound fading away again.
This place was not the ideal place to hide anymore.
Lux gripped onto her bow as she swung her other weapons onto her waist. She than gripped onto a small leather pouch on the ground as it contain 'eatable' food. She was going to trade these food for some usable medicine that could diluted the toxin in the water. With that in mind, Lux made a leap through the broken window as she jumped onto another building's edge. She gazed at the London Eye in far to consider her direction for a moment before she jumped in another direction toward the market.
