England - Future - Part 2

6219 A.D. - England - London

The wind was blowing south for once. That was rare on earth as winds tend to shift in various directions during the day. Sometimes even worst as the wind would turned into a turbulence making everything on the ground being flipped into mid air. The people on the ground have to understand the wind if a single chance of living was needed.

Lux jumped along the building edges as she gripped onto structure edge as a strong wind gust pass her making her slip slightly from her landing. She cursed lightly regaining firm grip of the building edge as she glanced around for any sign of danger. In far she spotted a few 'innocent' bulls eating a few plants. It was a blink of a second when the plants wrapped around the bull's legs. The battle between the animal and the plants were always terrifying to watch, yet Lux watched without much movement from her position. The bull let out a a low cry as the bull head turned suddenly and open up to a side mouth on the neck. The side mouth shown sharp teeth as the bull head moved in an odd angle as it tried to get out of the tight grip of the plant. The struggle of the bull only made the plant grip harder as it tried to inject venom through the tough skin of the bull. It was not a pretty battle. In the end, the plant was half destroyed while the bull barely scrapped away as its skin was turning slightly grey green from its usual brownish yellow.

Lux was holding her breath the whole time as she turned her emerald eyes at each visible surface. She was going to take a gamble. Quite a big one too. Using the building edge as a leverage, she swung her body back and forth hard before she leaped onto the ground of the forest. Her bow was slide off from her back and gripped tight in her hand as she jumped along the root lines on the ground of the forest. She ducked her head a few times when a vine struck out trying to grip onto her. Finally she drew back her bow when crackle of light appeared charging the bow up. She saw her target. The wounded bull in her line of sight. Without hesitation she released the arrow from her bow as it struck right onto the wounded area on the bull's skin. It was just enough electric pulse to knock the bull out. Lux wiped her forehead as she made a ran toward the bull. She needed to get to the bull before the plants started to feast on raw meat. In luck. It was all she could think of.

If the day was lucky enough for Lux to get a hung onto a batch of raw meat for the market trade, than she wasn't sure about the second part of her day. "Geronimo!!!" that word rung through the forest.

Lux had just finished her harvest as she was about to climb onto a street lamp to see her way into the heart of London. That little word. Yes. That little word made Lux turned her head and swung her reflex into action as she drew onto her bow and aim it a general direction of that voice. She knew what could that be, yet she wouldn't be sure as the toxic air swapped in by the wind at times contain illusion toxic. Not something Lux wish to encounter at all.

In far she could see a shadow coming through the forest, up down it ran. It was jumping around the plants as Lux gripped even tighter onto her bow while she drew back the strings ready for a shoot. "Oh NOOOO!" the same familiar voice rung through as it finally gushed right through the forest and onto the broken paved street. "Oh my. Never understand human and their destruction." the shadow turned out to be a man. The man that Lux knew all her life.

Lux let out a low sigh as she relaxed and tucked the bow back onto her back. A smile formed onto her face as she slowly walked close to the shadow. "Now, what is the chance of time allowing us to meet at this point at this time of the day?" she asked in the most innocent voice as the man gulped down hard. "Not sure." was all the Doctor said as he clapped his together leaning forward. "But I do want to find out too." the smile was sync on both of their faces.

Time. It was something funny all the time. Lux for sure want to figure it out more, even she knew answers to a lot of things among time. Though, there is still more to figure out. Always more.
