San Francisco - The Doctor - Pt II

The Doctor woke up with a start. Beads of cold sweats slowly trickle down his forehead as he gasped for air, he held upon his shirt as he struggle to regain the rapid beating of his twin heart among his own chest. Slowly and stead he rolled his eyes as he tried to brush away the odd dream in his mind, yet he knew it would never happen as he recalled every detail too well in the presence of his mind. He gently shook his curly hair a few times as if attempting to ease away the memory, yet it wasn't helping much. Finally, he got up from his position as he slowly climbed up to peek at the console among the T.A.R.D.I.S for a moment. It was only than did he realized the time period he unintentionally landed among, as it had been one of time period that he long forbid himself to land among it. Shit. The Doctor almost cursed himself in the process for his careless mistake. Oh well.... The Doctor thought for a mere moment before he tried to flicker the switches upon the console panel in hope to travel into another time period. At least... less painful one, yet the T.A.R.D.I.S didn't bulge at all. It simply gave a light humming sound upon the engine before settling back down into pure silence again.

"Oh dear.... I didn't injure you right? Sweetie, come on, THIS is not a time era for either one of us."

The Doctor patted the console gently before bending down to kiss upon the panel before he went back flicking through the various switches. The T.A.R.D.I.S simply hummed lightly again before returning back to pure silence again. The Doctor grunted before sitting upon the floor as he gazed up upon the T.A.R.D.I.S. He held a fond smile upon his lips as he swamp his eyes left to right a few times as if trying to make up his mind.

"Fine, you win. Sweetie, I will visit my beloved. Happy now?"

The T.A.R.D.I.S hummed lightly this time before the wooden door of the T.A.R.D.I.S swung open revealing the world outside of the T.A.R.D.I.S. The Doctor slowly got up as he adjusted his clothing along with scarf and hat before strolling out. He breathed in the surrounding sight of the busy crowded street that were swamp with various cadets roaming around in their Star Flee uniform. The Doctor scratched his messy curly hair a few times before adjudging his hat once more as he tried to determinate his direction of the day.

The Doctor being the playful persona he held in heart, he walked passed the many Star Flee cadets while he made a face before taking out jelly babies to pop into his mouth. Once in a while the Doctor would decide to flick a jelly babies right at one of the cadet's head just to see their reaction. In conclusion, the Doctor found humor in every single thing surrounding him to be .... interesting? At least the wincing facial expression from one of the Vulcan after being the victim of jelly babies was totally worth it.

"Have you heard? The new Star Flee crew is coming together, I heard Lieutenant Misoto Lee will be part of it. He is simply a very interesting person, though not to say his loner personality do get on everyone's nerve."

The Doctor paused for a long moment upon hearing such words, he slide behind a lamp post as he slide his eyes right and left while listening. Finally he made a funny face before laughing upon himself. Of course, his beloved one would make it. He always knew his beloved one was clever in every way, though he also knew people would talk. Heck. Even he wondered at times if his beloved one would actually succeed upon a space ship. Nope. Actually the Doctor knew his beloved one would succeed. After all.... that was what the T.A.R.D.I.S was for!

The childish personality among the Doctor seem to be in full swing as he strolled through the grounds of the academy. Once in a while he would halt for a brief moment as he offered jelly babies toward various Vulcan cadets while teasing back upon their lack of able to telepathically understood him. It wasn't until he bumped into Commander Spock.

"Oui.... Not fun, I mean, would you want a jelly babies?" The Doctor rubbed his forehead gently before adjusting his hat once more while his other hand fished into his pocket and dished out a handful of jelly babies toward Commander Spock. It wasn't too surprise to see a confusing face ran across the Vulcan. After all, dully noted, Vulcan are a race that never did take humor, emotion, pop culture reference well in any form. Too bad. The Doctor was in his usual prank mood as he winked and tossed a jelly babies right into the Commander Spock's mouth the moment that tight lip mouth popped open.

"Ummm...." Commander Spock coughed lightly upon the unexpected intrusion of jelly babies, "That is very rude, sir." The Doctor stick his tongue out in a very childish manner as reply before tossing another jelly babies right at Commander Spock once more. This time Commander Spock merely tilted his head as avoiding the 'violent' attack of jelly babies.

"You lots are too stiff up, loosen up, young lad." The Doctor grin and wink in the same process before strolling off once more leaving a confusing Commander Spock behind. Of course, that included a very clouded mind of Commander Spock as for once he couldn't telepathy someone's mind properly.

The Doctor strolled along a random path, or so what everyone around him thought he was, only stopping once in a while to make funny faces at the spotless sting windows before strolling along once more. Finally, the Doctor halted upon a door. He quickly rubbed his finger upon his jacket before licking his finger with his tongue and slack those fingers right into his curly hair to try and straight things up. Once he some what manage to tame those curly hair up, he stuck his face right upon the spotless reflection glass to check his teeth for any evidence of jelly babies among it. It was only upon final fleeing thought that the Doctor decided to adjust the angel of his hat and scarf.

All set. All appearance look normal. Nothing... wild on the face or anywhere. The Doctor strolled in the room as he gazed around the cozy apartment. Odd. His beloved one seem to not been back yet.

The Doctor was somewhat lost in his mind when he finally heard the light click than sliding door sound that indicate the return of the owner. He beamed a light sweet smile upon his lips as he stood aside and lingered himself in the shadow. He watched, he waited, he halted his breath....

Finally...

"Glad to see me, Lambda?" The Doctor couldn't help blurting out that sentence as he opened his arms up to greet his beloved one. Of course, he was rewarded in return.

Not bad. Not bad.

Future - San Francisco

2256 A.D. - San Francisco

Ever since the last destruction upon World War III, the world had changed in its own dramatic yet predicable pattern. World War III left its own mark upon Earth as certain areas had became inhabitable for human. Nuclear warfare always left nasty aftermath upon the land, such repeated pattern was an regret upon the human history. Then again, human always move forward as the human race had raised another notch upon technology, along with the outcome of branching out into the wide universe had became unavoidable in the end. The first contact of outer life had changed the landscape of how human seen of the world, Vulcan were intelligent species as they taught human many technology. Though many questioned how the Vulcan had came to Earth, it was only whisper in the myth that a man in a blue police box had something to do with it; however, none was proven. The Starfleet had became the leading organization to seek out other life forms in the vast land of stars.

Misoto Lee was a very serious man as he was one of the leading researchers upon time travel throughout the whole United Federation of Planets. He was born in 2230 A.D. in Ireland, Earth. Most of the time he barely mention about his childhood as he often found it as a distraction toward his research, though once in a while he would let it slip. He still recalled the vast green valley rolling down a step hill, and just a little bit over the step hill was a nuclear created valley that no plants would ever grow among. Then again he would merely pointed that out he never could ran down the hills to actually enjoy the vast green land. Misoto was born under the heavy influence of nuclear practical leading his legs to never able to function properly. The wheel chair had became his best friend, though he didn't seem to mind it as he could boss everyone around to help him.

It was another day in the Starfleet Academy that is located in San Francisco, Misoto had just finish another long irritated talk with his fellow colleague upon the important calculation of nuclear input to activate the warp hole system. Well, in truth it was much like creating a worm hole that would allow two destination become connected and allow passage to travel. This was a knowledge Misoto never quite fully expressed toward his own colleague as many believe time warp was simply rippling through the fabric of universe with the speed of light to travel.

Misoto slowly rolled his wheelchair long the grounds of the academy, he barely even care of the chatter surrounding him as he simply strolled through the crowd. He only stopped once or twice to raised his stern voice to excuse the crowd in hoping to pass through. He ignored all the excitement of the academy students of the recruitment for the latest Starfleet crew - The Enterprise. After all no crew wish to have a cripple upon the dock when traveling in space. Misoto for sure didn't thought he would be halt by someone in the ranks of the captain.

"Lieutenant Lee." it was enough to make Misoto to actually gazed up and focus upon the speaker. Misoto was never a handsome man, nor he was ugly, he simply held a complex feature that always make people felt hesitate to engage a conversation. "I am here to inform your latest post, as to join the Enterprise." That certainly brought a bit shock upon Misoto as he opened his thin cracked lips a few times before speaking in his harsh voice, "Thank you, that is indeed a news to bring in odd moments, Captain." he said as he gave a nodding head as he started to stir his wheelchair back to its original destination.

It wasn't until the day had settle to night that Misoto actually did considered the words from the Captain as he gazed from his room. His eyes lingered upon the many design layouts upon his wall along with endless madness drawings of various Starfleet ship engines. Finally, his eyes settle upon a design that stood out from the other designs. It was a console pack with various buttons and gears that had contain many odd tubs in the center. It was only than Misoto faintly muttered among his empty room, "Theta."

Misoto long knew deep in his heart there was someone out there in the wild universe, someone that actually knew the truth behind every star and every culture that was beyond the United Federation of Planets's data base record. Most of the time Misoto almost felt he could felt or even daring to say taste the juicy knowledge upon the very tip of his own finger tip, though he had yet understand why he felt that way. He did know the truth behind the myth of the mad man that lead to the bond of Vulcan and human race, as he gladly illustrate the truth in depth to any willingly listen souls.

With those thoughts in mind, Misoto slowly strolled his wheelchair up toward his wall as he gazed upon the console design, he lingered smile upon his lips as he muttered gently, "Theta, where are you?" It was as if the question was answered as a pair of hand gently landed upon Misoto's shoulder. The warmth of the hands were enough indication for Misoto to gently turned his head sideways and upward as he smiled faintly. "Theta, the Enterprise had recruited me."

"I am glad, Lambda."
